Meet The Artist: Augusto “Gus” Besido Albor
Augusto “Gus” Besido Albor (b.1948) is an internationally renowned Filipino abstract painter and sculptor who was named one of the “Thirteen Artists” by the Cultural Centre of the Philippines in 1977. This prestigious recognition honours artists who, in their time, have taken risks to “restructure, restrengthen, and renew both art making and art thinking”.
